Bachelor
of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
The
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program
is a four and a half year program. The candidate has to
complete one year compulsory rotatory internship as per
the norms of the Medical Council of India. The total
number of available seat is 100. A candidate who has
completed at least 17 years of age is eligible to appear
in the entrance examination. Every year in the month of
January/February applications are invited from eligible
candidates for appearing in the pre medical entrance examination
conducted by the University on all India basis. The pre
medical entrance examination is held in the month of May
at various centers in the country.
Results
are declared before 15th June. Allotment of seats is done
before 15th of July and the course commences in the first
week of August.
As of 4.09. 2009 the
fees are Rs. 3,00,000/- per annum. Admission Fee Rs. 30,000/-.
Hostel Fee Rs. 24,000/-. Mess Charges: actuals

Academic Calendar:
The academic session of the MBBS course starts in the
month of August every year with inauguration address by
VC and Dean.
